    1、教学内容:Unit 2 If you tell him the truth now, you will show that you are honest.

    3、教学目标:
    1、能够听懂并正确地朗读下列汇词:come round, reason, try out, angry, no longer,
    be angry with sb. repair, truth, least, at least, honest, apoligise
    2、语法:能掌握if 引导的条件状语从句的用法。
    3、能够读懂描述生活问题和给建议的书信并提取相关信息,
    4、能够写出困扰自己的问题并寻求建议。
    四、教学重难点:
    1、能够理解描述生活问题和给建议的书信
    2、能够正确运用if引导的状语从句写出困扰自己的问题并寻求建议。
    五、教学准备:
    课堂整体运用任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息,培养学生阅读技能。在教学过程中,采用多媒体手段辅助教学,利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。因此,本节课需准备:PPT课件。

    提供学生几张情景画让他们猜出画中的所表达的问题,使学生的脑袋可以迅速地转动起来,锻炼他们的思维能力,以趣味性的方式导入了本课课题。

    1.Check the new words.
    (1)Show more pictures and things to get the students fill in the blanks with right words.
    (2)Organize them to read the new words together.

    Show the letter and reply on the screen and ask the students to discuss in pairs, encourage them to decide where they come from.
    (1)Watch pictures learn some new words and try to fill in the blanks with right words.

    Ask students to scan the passage and find out Steve’s problem.
    2.Careful reading.
    (1)Ask the students to read the letter, then answer the following questions.
    1. What does Steve’s father use the computer for?
    2.Can Steve play games on his father’s computer? Why?
    3.What did they do when David came round with a new computer game?
    4. What did Steve’s father find when he used the computer last night?
    5 .Why does Steve feel terrible?
    (2)Ask students to read the reply and finish Activity 3. Complete the advice to Steve.

    Get the students watch a video and read with it, then let them read loudly in groups.
